It is that time of the year again for the annual summer newsletter! I urge all parishioners young and old to please read this newsletter as there are important notices for all ages.
I wish you all a happy, healthy and Holy summer.
Below are a few extracts from the newsletter:
Canon Philip Joseph Gambin has very kindly volunteered his services and he is here on supply to allow me to have a break. Since his arrival he has made a number of acquaintances. With the assistance of Mr John Murphy he will be visiting the sick and the housebound. In my absence he will be conducting the services and seeing to your needs. He will be with us till the end of August. I would like to express my sincere gratitude for his help and support. Finally I would like to thank him on your behalf for his assistance.
For a good number of years we used to have a Senior Parishioner's Tea Party. This ceased a couple of months ago. It has become a bit difficult to find volunteers. I would hope that we can restart in the near future. Should you wish to volunteer please let me know. I would like to take this opportunity to thank most heartily those volunteers who have given so much of their time and by providing the treats. This gave our Senior Parishioners the opportunity to meet others for a few hour twice a month.
