We are happy to announce that St Vincent's will now be open for private prayer.
You may visit the Church at the following times:
Monday - Saturday: 10am - 12 noon and in the evening between 5pm - 6pm
Sunday: 11am - 12 noon and in the evening between 4pm - 6pm
We are now a few days into being open for private prayer and we thought we would share with you what we have done to set the church up inline with social distancing guidelines.
1) When you arrive at the entrance to the church, the are some pre-requisites of entry on the outer door to read 2) When you enter the front atrium of the church, you will be met by one of our friendly volunteers who can help with any questions you have 3) In the atrium, there is a hand sanitising station and some rules and procedures that you must read 4) You must sanitise your hands before going further into the church 5) When you enter the church, you will see that there are a number of areas and items with ribbon across them. The ribbon means out of bounds and do not use 6) Unfortunately the holy water stoup at the rear of the church is empty and is not in use 7) As described in the documents at the entrance to the church, there are arrows on the floor, marking out where you must go 8) We have set out 28 seats (one at each end of each pew that is not cordoned off). These are marked with numbers from the rear of the church to the front 9) You must pass through the church as a 'one way system'. You will enter through the normal main entrance and exit through the door at the front of the church (next to the altar). Don't worry, it is all signposted with floor markings 10) Before exiting the church through the exit door, there is a sanitising station. You must sanitise your hands before leaving the church
Please take the time to watch our short video that shows you a walk-through of the church.
We Look forward to seeing you soon.
God Bless.
Please note that these new measures include private prayer only. Public Masses are still prohibited until further notice.
